Content description
Box containing an additional photocopy of the original corrected typescripts made from the ‘1930 Coronation Diary’ and the three volumes covering his journey in Danakil country, 1933-1934. This draft of the work includes corrections made by Alexander Maitland which were both added before the photocopy was made and afterwards. The principle correction made is the crossing out of passages and these alterations were carried through to the final published work.
