Content description

A collection of correspondence, including autograph letters and postcards, to and from Anthony Powell. Also included are letters from Lady Violet Powell, his wife, and ten autograph postcards signed from Sir John Heygate to Miranda Wood. The letters from Powell letters vary in date from 1939 to 1985. As well as individual and small series of letters from Powell, there is a larger collection of letters between Anthony Powell and Tom Wallace, Powell's American publisher.
