A collection of printed pamphlets containing lectures and other official material written by B.L. Montgomery.
It includes:
- ‘Military Leadership’ a lecture by Montgomery as part of the Walker Trust Lectures on Leadership, St Andrews University, 15 November 1945
- ‘Morale in Battle: Analysis’ a paper written by Montgomery in Germany, April 1946
- ‘Administrative Statistics, Operation Overlord, 6 Jun 44 to 1 May 45’
- ‘21st (British) Army Group in the Campaign in North-West Europe 1944-1945’ a lecture delivered by Montgomery to the Royal United Service Institution, London, October 1945
- ‘Ten Chapters 1942-1945’ a small book written by Montgomery to outline his personal activities after taking command of the 8th Army in August 1942 through to the German surrender in May 1945. The book includes an autograph dedication from Montgomery to Johnny Henderson and is signed Germany, 8 July 1945.
- Also included in the file is a 1945 Christmas card featuring the 21st Army Group’s badge and is signed John Henderson
