Content description
Letters written by Faith Compton Mackenzie or her husband Edward Montagu Compton Mackenzie. Over 330 ALS, 5 PCS, 1 TLS written by Faith to her mother Elizabeth Theresa Vidal Stone, and most of the rest addressed to her sister Ruth Boswell Stone White. A letter to "Daddo" announces her marriage to Compton Mackenzie in 1905. With 32 ALS from Compton Mackenzie, chiefly written in 1905, addressed to his mother or father, but also including one to Edward Daniel Stone shortly after his marriage to Faith. These are accompanied by the printed leaflet A Posy of Sweet Months by M.C.M., privately printed for 1906.
