Content description
Letters, drawings, autograph manuscripts, photographs and printed items relating to Reynolds Stone.
Correspondence includes incoming letters, with 83 ALS from his sister Diana Stone, accompanied by a diary kept in Switzerland over Christmas 1927/28, as well as one ALS to their father Edward Wellington Stone. There are 68 ALS to Reynolds from his sister Maisie, from 1925-1928. These letters are accompanied by a group of letters addressed to Diana and Maisie from a variety of correspondents, a large percentage of them condolence letters written on the death of their father Edward Wellington Stone in 1936.
Also, a group of incoming letters, many of them written to Reynolds in 1936 upon the death of his father Edward Wellington Stone, but also including 23 ALS and TLS from his cousin Will Carter.
Photographs consist of 65 images of schooners, taken c.1930, each approximately 4 x 2 1/2 inches.
