Winthrop Praed was particularly close to his sister Susan and they would regularly correspond whilst he was away at school and this continued into their adult life. This collection contains the letters Susan received and passed down to her son George. The letters offer a very personal an honest account of Praed’s life and would often contain verses he wrote to her
