The letters concern the idea to publish a chronology of the life of Edward Gordon Craig. Craig annotations are often giving approval and disapproval of Morris’s suggestions, and make further suggestions himself.
An autograph letter from Guido Morris to Stanley Smith dated 6 July 1955. Regarding a letter with Edward Gordon Craig’s annotations that Morris is selling to Smith. A typed and annotated transcript of the letter is also enclosed, as well as copies of woodcuts by Eric Gill, which are also mentioned in the letter.

The file also contains an enclosure for a letter to Alan Hancox to Edward Gordon, dated 1956, which includes a letter dated 1936. However, the contents were marked as missing in 2004
