[1880-1956]
1 box, 7 family trees, 1 map and 1 certificate
One box containing Nat Sparks' diary from 1940 in which he recounts the death of Kate Hardy (Hardy's sister), extracts from diaries, a folder of notes on pedigrees and tombstones, a certificate of membership of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, a handwritten copy of Nat Sparks' apprenticeship agreement, an account entitled 'The Pydle Legend' in Nat Sparks' hand, handwritten instructions in the event of his death, a copy of his will, a handbound book and other manuscript notes.
There is also a hand-drawn map of Puddletown by Nat Sparks (this is accompanied by the handbound book already mentioned) and a collection of six family trees drawn by him.
