Content description
Applications from students applying for grants to fund their travel expenses. Applications are for both personal trips and trips which are organised by the school. Each form includes the boy’s name and house, his proposed reason and project for travelling, how much it will cost and how much they wish to apply for concerning the grant. Also includes an endorsement by the boy’s house master. In the proposed reason for the grant the boys state various different intentions.
Most of the boys applied for funding for different trips, whilst some boys would apply for funding for trips organised for groups. A few examples of what boys applied for funding for include; School trips to Russia, to take part in language courses such as Italian in Italy, to study early renaissance painting in Florence, to work in an Australian psychiatric hospital to gain experience for a clinical psychology course, to teach English in Indonesia, to take part in a painting course in Antibes and for the school cricket tour of Australia.
