Etonians' visit gave great pleasure. Hopes the [cricket] matches will be played in future years. Meeting on each other's ground makes them better acquainted and it is good for boys who have no chance of seeing a match at Lord's to be present. Winchester defeat a blow but it was soon clear that the team was outmatched and therefore cowed.
