Indenture of lease, by Master Robert Aldrydge. Provost, and the College of Eton to Myghell Malett, of London, gentylman, of the site and manor of Upton with eight closes of land(named), and a cottage held by John Hylle, of Flete, Co. Devon, and a tenement or cottage with three closes(named) and a piece of ground called the Wodde, with all lands appurtaining to the said tenement or cottage, in Modbury, held by John Baker of Penquytt and William, his son, for their lives successively, by copy of court roll after the custom of the manor of Upton; to hold for twenty one years from Michaelmass 1562. except the premises held by John Baked which are to be held from the expiration of John Slanninges lease of 10. May, 1537: for the curomary rents.
