Duplicate of foregoing, including, also, the rents of 14li : 6s : 6d for this manor of Modbury and the lands in Notter, 17li ; 17s : 10d for the manors of Upton and Penquit with six quarters of wheat of Winchester measure at the rate of ten pence the bushel and eight quarters of malt of like measure at seven pence halfpenny the bushel, and ten pounds for the erquisites of courts and other casualties, and for the site of the recrtory of Modbury twenty six pounds and nineteen quarters, four bushels of wheat and twenty six quarters of malt. Signatures of Richard and Elizabeth Champernown.
Seals. Doubled tags for their seals, but only that of Elizabeth remains, round, 19.mm. red wax, about a third has been cracked away. A bad impression.
