The President of the Consistory of Exeter to the Dean of Plympton and the curate of the parish Church of Modbury and the several curates of the churches in the Deanery. Having received a complaint form dominus William Beuselyn, Prior of Modbury and proprietor of the church there, that certain sons of inquity have abstracted from a cupboard in the said church of a sum of money, the offering of the parishioner, deposited there by Robert Syner, the vicar's proctor, he instructs the foregoing to warn the offenders, repeating the warning thrice at intervals of five days, to restore the greater excommunication after fifteen days according to the usual ceremonial. The first to receive these instructions to make a copy of them for himself and forward them to another without delay. Given at Exeter.
