Instructions bt the official of the Atchdeacon of Totnes to the Dean of Plympton and the clergy of his deanery publicly to denounce Robert Peperell, of the parish of Ermyngtion, who has been excommunicated for not paying 21s : 8d which he owes to the Prior of Modbury. Given at Modbury.
Endorsed:- "m.N.Stephyn", and, in a 17th or 18th century hand "of little use".
Seal, pointed oval, red wax, 28.mm. originally about 35.mm. on tongue. A good impression but top broken. A hand holding a chalice between two keys(?).
