Release by Adam de Brom and William de Herlaston, clerks, to the Prior and Convent of St Barbara of all warranty for a messuage in the town of Colby [Colby, co. Lincs] which they have leased to the said Adam and William, with the advowson of the church there, by reason of the distance of the place and the dangers of the sea.

Two seals, round, dark reddish brown wax, on doubled tags.
1) 22mm, the top right hand part missing. Under gothic canopy seated figures of Virgin and Child and a saint.
2) 22mm. A lion passant guardant.
