Windsor, Berkshire: Grant of messuage

Grant by William Bullok and William Coupere, of New Windsor, to Katherine Place, daughter of the late John Place, of the same, of a messuage with a garden adjacent situated in Windsor under the castle inthe street called Bysshoppestrete between the messuage of John Gardynere and the messuage of John Fyssher and extending from the King's way to the King's land. Grant also of 3 acres of arable land and meadow lying together at Dachet Huthe in the field called Underorfeld between the land of Magota Chaundeler and the land sometime of John Pygot and extending at one end onto the land of John Thorp and at the other onto the land of William Bryan. To be held by the said Katherine and the heirs of her body with remainder to the right heirs of the said John Place.
Witnesses: Richard Markham, steward of the guild of merchants of the town, John Haydon, senior, and John Pundfreyt, then bailiffs, John Gardynere, John Towe, Richard Caperon, John Skreveyn and many others. Given at Windsor 5 March 22 Richard II.
