Grant by John de Shelton to Isabel Lankastre, daughter of Henry Lankastre of the county of Cambridge, of two shops with upper rooms and a garden adjacent situated in Westminster in the parish of the Blessed Mary de Strond outside Temple Bar between the tenement of Walter de Ardern barber on the west and the tenement late of Henry Glovere on the east and the King's way leading from London to Westminster on the south and the garden of the said Walter on the north, containing in length from the King's way to the said garden twenty five ells five inches and in breadth, at the south end five ells and three quarters and half (a quarter), and in the middle four ells and three quarters and half (a quarter) and at the north end four ells and eight inches. He had had the premises, with Matilda, his wife, deceased, of the gift of John Bataille, carpenter, and Margery, his wife, by deed of 18 July 1368.
Yearly rent to the master and brothers of the hospital of St James 3s.
Witnesses: John Moor, Thomas Blakewell, William Tyler and others.
The seal and its doubled tag are missing.
