Award of the official of the bishop of Bath and Wells in favour of the claim of brother Geoffrey, prior of Elyngham [Ellingham], to a yearly pension of half a mark from dominus John, rector of the chapel of Babynton [Babington], with arrears for the previous four years.
Seal, pointed oval, 31mm, originally about 37mm, green wax, on tongue. Above, the top half of the figure of the bishop, staff in left hand, right hand raised in blessing, the cathedral on either side of him; below, within a gothic arch a cleric facing to the right holding a book.
