Cottisford, Oxfordshire: Indenture of delivery of manor

Indenture between Henry de Pentelawe and John de Brumptone, Keepers of the lands, tenements and goods of the alien religious in the counties of Oxford and Berks, and brother Richard, prior of Okebourne [Ogbourne], by which the said keepers, by virtue of a writ of 10 December 1324, have delivered to the said prior the manor of Cotesford [Cottisford], with all its appurtenances (saving to the King Knights' fees and advowsons of churches), together with all the goods and chattels underwritten
viz: in the chamber two carpets and two linen sheets price 2s, item in the hall one table with one pair of trestles price 4d, one bench price 2d, one chair price 1d, one washing place with a basin price 12d, item in the kitchen two brass jugs price 8s, two brass pans price 22d, one tripod price 3d, item in the granary one basket for seed price 1d, item of corn in grain thrashed and by estimation in sheaves 22 quearters 6 bushels of wheat price 5s a quarter, 13 quarters 1 bushel of rye price 3s 4d a quarter, 60 quarters of dredge price 2s a quarter, 10 quarters of oats price 20d a quarter, 7 quarters of mixed pease and vetch price 2s a quarter, one basket price 2d, item of stock live and dead, two cart horses price 5s a head, three farm horses price 4s a head, six oxen price 6s 8d a head, a hundred and ninety five sheep price 14d a head, a hundred and ninety four ewes price 12d a head, a hundred and forty sheep of the second year (hogastr') price 12d a head, three geese price 3d a head, twelve capons price 2d a head, two cocks and four hens price 1½d a head, one cart with iron fittings and with harness belonging price 6s 8d, two ploughs with all apparatus price 3s 4d, two forks and one spade price 4d.
