Indenture of lease by brother William de Sancto Vedesto, prior of Okebourne [Ogbourne] and proctor general in England of the abbey of Bec Herlewyn [Bec Hellouin], to Edward Meteleye of a tenement in Cotesford [Cottisford] called Barstenement with all its appurtenances, from Michaelmas last for 80 years. Rent 13s 4d. The lessee to acquit the lessors of all suits of hundreds and counties incumbent on the tenement and to maintain the buildings and restore them in as good condition as he received them. Cotesford.
