Draft of a petition to Parliament of the Provost and College, lords of the manor and owners of houses and lands in the manor and parish of Weedon Bec, co. Northampton, and owners of lands in the parish of St John Hampstead, co. Middlesex, on the line of the proposed Rail Road from London to Birmingham, praying that a more eligible direction may be found for the line. The petitioners' estate in Weedonbeck have been materially injured by a former Act of Parliament for cutting the Grand Junction Canal which passes directly through Weedonbeck.
