Indenture of lease, 20 December 1632, by the Provost and College, upon the surrender of a lease to John Smith, late of Eton, cook, deceased, to Thomas Dickinson, of Eton, cook, of two messuages or tenements with two gardens and two backsides belonging, together with all cellars, sollers, stables, kitchens and other appurtenances, in Eton, between a tenement late of Thomas Windsor, deceased, on the south and a tenement of the said Dickinson on the north and the King’s highway on the west, the messuages being now in the possession of the said Dickinson. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent 23s 4d and two fat capons on 20 November.
