Indenture of lease, 17 January 1641-2, by the Provost to Edmund Dickenson, of Minster Lovell, co. Oxon, clerk, upon the surrender of a lease to Thomas Dickinson, deceased, father of the said Edmund, of two messuages or tenements with two gardens and two backsides belonging, together with all cellars, sollers, stables, kitchens and other appurtenances, in Eton, between a tenement late of Thomas Windsor, deceased, on the south, and a tenement late of the said Thomas Dickenson on the north and the King’s highway on the west, the messuage being now in the possession of the said Edmund Dickenson. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent 23s 4d and two fat capons on 20 November or 4s for the capons.
