Grant by John Boyle, of Overton, co. Hants, son and heir of John Boyle and Katherine, his wife, late of Chalvey in the parish of Upton, deceased, to Thomas Smyth and Alice, his wife, of Eton, of all his free lands and tenements in Chalvey and elsewhere in Upton which descended to him on the death of his said parents.

Witnesses to the seisin: Richard Fytzwater, John Tawnt, John Tayler (The T is a doubtful reading), John Dudley, Robard Langley, John Pitte and others; and Margaret Clerke, widow, received tenant of the premsies to the said Thomas and Alis by payment of 1d.
