Six deeds copied on one membrane endorsed Copies of Charters for certian lands and tenements in Wyknefelde for Thomas Smyth of Glastonbury. The date probably not much later than that of the latest deed, viz 1374.
Grant by William Mogenhod, of Wynkefeld, to Richard, son of Robert Elys, of Crawstokes in Wokkyng, of all the lands and tenements which he had of the gift of William Scot in Ascote, which lie between the land of Thomas Kyllyby and a path called le Lude lane in breadth, extending from the land of John Benefeld to the King's way leading towards Wyndesore, together with a horse mill with all its apparatus in a building standing towards Henry le Wheler in Ascote.
