Six deeds copied on one membrane endorsed, Copies of Charters for certian lands and tenements in Wyknefelde for Thomas Smyth of Glastonbury. The date probably not much later than that of the latest deed, viz 1374.
Grant by Richard, son of Robert Elys, of Crawstokes in Wocking, to William Moghenhod, of Wynkefeld, and Alice, the grantor's sister and Robert Elys' daughter, of all the lands and tenements he lately had of the gift of the said William in Ascote which lie between the land of Thomas Kyllyby and a path called le Lude Lane in breadth, extending from the land of John Benefeld to the King's way leading towards Wyndesore.
To hold to the said William and Alice and the heirs of William.
Witnesses: Robert Batayll, William Buntfeld, John Kyleby, Andrew le Rede, John Godwyne, Stephen Aylward, Thomas Shephurd, William Scot.
