Counterpart of lease, by Thomas Eyre, of Huntercombe in Burnham, esquire, and Henry Ball, of Burnham, yeoman, churchwardens of Burnham, to Henry Messenger, of the same, yeoman, of a messuage or tenement called the Church House in Burnham, adjoining the churchyard, wherein John Taylor now dwells, with all outhouses, gardens, etc appertaining and an acre of meadow abutting on Oldfeild on the west, the highway leading to the vicarage house on the north, and the lands of Thomas Eyre, esquire, and Mr Pursell on the south and east, and 10 acres of arable in the fields of Burnham, Cippenham and Brittwell viz. in Cippenham Liberty ½ acre in a field called Boares Lands between the land of Peter Style on the south and that of Eton College on the north and Ayemill brook on the west, ½ acre in the same field between the land of Peter Style on the north and that of Eton College on the south and abutting on Ayemill brook on the west, ½ acre in Cippenham field between the land of Mr Mitchell on the east and the churchway on the west, ½ acre in the same shott between land of Mr Muckullock on the east and Mr Mitchell on the west and the road leading to London on the south, in Brittwell field ½ acre abutting on Cippenham field to the south and Mr Muckullock's land north east and west, 2 three yardlands in the next shott lying north and south and Mr Muckullock's land quite round them, ½ acre abutting on Linkenhatch lane on the west and Mr Muckullock's land on the north and south, in Lent Field 2 acres lying through Okendale Pitt abutting on the land leading to Maydenhead on the south and a mare (?) bank on the west and the bishop of Peterborough's land on the east, 1 acre in the same shott abutting on the lane to the south and the land late of Mr Hills on the west and that of Mr Eyres on the east, in the Breach field ½ acre abutting on thee east on the lands of Mr Eyre, on the west on John Harbour's land and Mr Eyre's lands on the south and Thomas Grove's lands on the north, in West Town field 1 acre abutting on the Abbey field on the east and the way leading to the road on the west and the land belonging to West Town Farme on the north an south; except all timber trees, with free passage for thee lessors to cut and carry away the same. From Michaelmas last for 13 years. Rent £7.
