Indenture of bargain and sale, by Edmund Waller, of Colshill, co. Herts, esquire, and Robert Waller, gentleman, his eldest son, to William Hawden, of Little Marlowe, co. Bucks, yeoman, and William Hawden, his son, of a close or meadow containing 3 acres called Stitche in Cookeham between the Thames on the east and a common field called Rowborrowe on the west and 15½ acres of arable in the common fields of Cookeham, of which 5 acres lie in a common field called Sutton between the land of William Aldridge on the east and a furlong "shotinge uppon" Apsmeade on the west, 1 acre in Sutton between the land of ... Lentall, gentleman, on the south and that of Thomas Turnor on the north, 2 acres in a common field called the Hame between the land of William Welden, esquire, on the south and the land of William Aldridge on the north, 4 acres together at Bromehill between the land of William Welden on the east and that of William Aldridge on the west, 2 acres together in Powndefeilde between the land of William Welden on the north and that of Thomas Turnor on the south, and 3 half-acres together in Powndefeilde between the land of William Readinge on the north and that of William Welden on the south. The premises are in the occupation of Edward Wooddier and are or late were parcels of a farm in Maydenhed in the parish of Cokeham called Saraenshed. There is a yearly quitrent of 5s to the chief lord of the fee.
