Indenture of lease, by the Provost and College, upon surrender of a lease to Thomas Sheeres, now deceased, to Margaret Goddard, daughter of James Goddard deceased, late of Maydenhead in the parish of Cookeham, co. Berks, and Richard North, of Arberfeilde, co. Berks, of a tenement and a little barn and a garden, late in the occupation of the said Goddard, in Maydenhead in Cookeham and an acre of arable in two pieces in the North Towne feilde, half an acre lying between the land of Christopher Babham, gentleman, on the north and that of the lord Norris late in the tenure of ... Mattingly on the south and half an acre between the land of William Brice on the north and that of Lentall on the south. From Michaelmas last for 21 years. Rent 8s 10¾d and 1½ bushels of wheat and 5 bushels ½ peck of malt or their money equivalent.
