Memorandum of surrender by Jesse Goodchild, furniture dealer, before Frederick Charsley, of Slough, gent., deputy steward, for £250 paid by John Clarke, of Haddenham, co. Bucks, auctioneer, William Clarke, farmer, and Daniel Clarke, of High Wycombe, gent., of all tenements to which James Saunders was admitted on 22 August 1803 on the surrender of Thomas Nicholls, and to which Daniel Russell and Rebecca, his wife, were admitted on 16 October 1834 on the surrender of James Stevens, formerly in the occupation of Stevens and afterwards of Robert Taylor; and 2 plots in Millham in Bledlow containing 1 rood 3 perches and 1 acre 23 perches respectively, which were allotted to the said Stevens by the Enclosure Award of 1812; and 1 acre of grass land in Goswell in Bledlow; to all which premises Goodchild was admitted at the General Court Baron on 18 July 1864; also the site of two cottages at the Ford to which he was admitted on 23 November 1867; also a cottage with an orchard, formerly the estate of William Warden, deceased, late in the tenure of Thomas Tomms and now or late of Richard Higgs, to which he was admitted out of court this day. To the use of the said James (sic), William and Daniel Clarke. If Goodchild shall pay them £250 with interest by 6 January next, the surrender shall be void.
