Memorandum of surrender by Samuel Gibbs, of Aylesbury, cabinet maker, before Frederick Charsley, gent., deputy steward, for£1831 paid by Frederick Mason, of Waddesdon, gent., and Alfred Mason, of Bicester, co. Oxford, draper's assistant, of a messuage in Waddesdon formerly inhabited by Joseph Adams, then by William Adams and later by Thomas Newman, late of William Mason, deceased, and now of Julia Mason, his widow; and a close near the same called the Home Close containing 7 acres, formerly also in the occupation of William Adams, then of Thomas Newman, late of the said William Mason, deceased, and now of the said Frederick Mason; and a plot of ground in Waddesdon near the same containing 17 acres 3 roods 13 perches, foermerly also in the occupation of the said William Adams, then of Thomas Newman, late of George Humphrey, and now of Frederick Mason; and a plot of ground in Waddesdon formerly in the occupation of William Adams, then of Thomas Newman, late of George Humphrey and now of Frederick Mason, containing 1 rood 5 perches. The said William Mason, deceased, was admitted to the premises on 23 August 1852 on the surrender of William Carthew, and Samuel Gibbs and John Payne, since deceased, were admitted on 24 November 1862 as devises in trust under the will of William Mason. To the use of Frederick Mason and Alfred Mason.
