Content description
Mandate by pope Gregory IX to the abbot and prior of Winchcombe, in the diocese of Worchester, to hear and settle a cause upon the complaint of Matthew, perpetual vicar of the church of Hullavington, that the abbot and convent of S Victor, patrons of the said church, which they hold to their proper uses, receive so much from the issues of the same yearly that he is not able to support himself adequately on the residue and maintain the episcopal dues and other burdens of the same.
