Indenture of lease, by Anthony Langeston, gentleman, to William Day, clerk, of that little mead and string of meadow in Mapledurham lying by the Thames between the wharf and the grounds of Richard Lybb, of Hardewicke, esquire, now in teh tenure of Day. From Michaelmas last for one year. Rent a peppercorn.

Endorsed that this document was shown to deponents at the time of their examination, viz. to Dr Mathew Day on 28 October 1656 before Robert Nicholas; to the same in Chancery on behalf of William Day, defendant, at the suit of Walter Blount, esquire, complainant before T Peyton; to Thomas Martyn, gentleman, in the Exchequer in the cause between William Day, plaintiff and Walter Blunt, esquire, and others, defendants, before William Knollys, John Davis.
