Mapledurham, Oxfordshire: Memorandum of agreement

Memorandum of agreement, between the John Hawtrey, clerk and Lyster Blount esquire, that for a rent of £28 Hawtrey will lease to Blount all tythes on the several lands mentioned in a lease of 16 October 1660 from William Day to Walter Blount, for 3 years from Michaelmas last; and will lease also all the privy tythes on the orchards, gardens, courts, and storeyards now in the possession of Blount, as also on a plot of ground called the Deer close and another called the Grove, the tythes of wool and lambs excepted.
