Content description
Articles of agreement, between John Hawtrey, clerk, and Edward Highwood, yeoman. For a rent of £152 10s and in consideration of a lease from William Day to Highwood of 24 September 1684, Hawtrey will make a lease for one year to Highwood for Michaelmas 1685 of all tythes mentioned in the former lease. Highwood will deliver a sufficient bond at the sealing of the lease.
