Copy of William Tooke, 39 Bedford Row, on behalf of the College, to - Driver, esquire, on behalf of the Commissioners of Woods and Forests, in answer to the application of the latter on what terms the College would be disposed to part with Primrose Hill and the land immediately continuous to the Regents Park to the extend of 50 acres or thereabouts for the purpose of being attached to the park by walks and plantations dedicated, the College is prepared to abate very considerably the price they have been advised that they would be entitled to ask and will sell at the rate of £350 and acre, over and above the interest of the lessees (the trustees of a widow lady called Clarke) who are to be compensated by the Commissioners.
