Letters patent of brother Gilbert, bishop of Annadown, suffragan of John, bishop of Chichester. At the request of Sir Stephen, rector of the church of Hampton in the diocese of Chichester, he dedicated the said church on 8 March 1308 - 9, all right, however and all pensions accustomed and due, and which might be due, to the church of Lunemynstr' remaining safe thereto. These letters, sealed with his seal, at the request of Lady Agatha, then prioress of Lunemynstr' and with the agreement of the said Sir Stephen, he has made patent.
Seal, pointed oval, originally about 50 x 35mm, now 40 x 30mm, green wax, on tongue. Only some of the centre part, including the robed figure but not the head or feet, and the right side remain.
