This series contains remnants of papers of some members of a branch of the Barrett family related to the Moulton-Barretts, including Elizabeth Barrett Williams and various members of her immediate family, including her Waite, Williams, Plummer, Melvin and Hill relatives. The papers were probably passed down the Moulton-Barrett family as they belonged to Barrett antecedents of Georgiana Elizabeth (Lizzie) Barrett, who married her cousin Alfred Moulton-Barrett
