Grant by John Place, son and heir of John Place, of New Windsor, to John Towe and John Bullok, senior, of the same, of a booth situated in the market place of the King’s in Windsor between the booth sometime of Robert Hertele and the booth of John Sharpp; and all the lands and tenements he has in the parish of Windsor, together with the reversion of all the lands and tenements which Alice, his mother, holds for life in the said parish and in the parishes of Clyware and Eton.
Witnesses: William Tylere, steward of the Merchant Guild of the town, Richard Newbury, Nicholas Clerk, then bailiffs, John Gardiner, John Pomfreyt, Richard Skynner, James Chaundeler and many others. Given at Windsor 6 April 12 Henry IV.
