Grant of John Hulle, parish priest of Cluwer, and Denise Pomfret, late wife of Richard Pomfret, to Thomas Peres, valett', and Margaret, his wife, of a tenement situated in the fe of the lord of Clywar between the tenement late of William Pynke on the south and the curtilage of the lord of Clewar on the north, and extending from the King's way called Tamestrete to the garden sometime of Thomas Holbode, which they had of the gift of Thomas Profette and William Towe.
Witnesses: Henry Somer, John Couper, Thomas Couper, William Chaundeler and many others. Given at New Windsor 20 November 10 Henry VI.
Endorsed: ... yn gaffe the tente conteignet in this dede to Hugh of Chippenham be a dede to him & to his heires for evemore the quech Hugh had issu John Chippenham etc the queche John son & heir to Hugh gaffe the said tente to oon John Poufrette to him & to his heires for evamore the quech John Poumfreit had issue oon John Poumfreit & deict seiseit the queche John Pounfreit entreit as som & heir & was seiset & so beyng seiset enffeffet William (torn) & Thomas Pfeit to herr & her heirs for evamore etc. queche William & Thomas enfeffet John Hull .... Diones late wiffe to Ric' Poumfreit son to John Poumfret son of John Poumfret to hem & to hair heires .... etc. queche John Hulle & Diones enfeffet be this said Thomas Peres & Margaret his wyfe as hit app ..... playnle ... this sayd.
