Windsor, Berkshire: Quitclaim of croft

Quitclaim by John Avelyn, son and heir of Robert Avelyn, of New Windsor, to master William Westbury, Provost of the Royal College of the Blessed Mary of Eton, and the College, of all his right in a croft of land lying between the land sometime of Simon Scy and the King's forest called Redehull, and the land sometime of William Somery and the King's forest called Knaphurst, which the said Provost and College lately had of the gift of Nicholas Walton and Richard Forstere.
Witnesses: John Norys, Robert Manfeld, esquires, Hugh Ayllewyn, mayor of the town of Windsor, Roger Fassenham, and Thomas Broun, bailiffs and many others.
