Windsor, Berkshire: Grant of messuage

Grant by John Gardenere, of Ever, co. Bucks, and Joan, his wife, to master William Westbury, Provost of the Royal College of Eton, of a messuage with a garden adjacent in New Windsor in the street called le Prestestrete opposite the gaol between the tenement late of William Knoller, now of Richard Maryner on the south and the messuage pertaining to the King's college of Eton on the north, abutting at one end onto the King's way on the west and at the other onto le Oldhawes on the east, which they lateley had of the gift of Richard Smyth, Roger Wayte, Thomas Symenot, of New Windsor and John Broune, of Cleware, by charter of 6 May 32 Henry VI.
