This endenture made at Eton the v day of Aprill the yere of Kyng Harry VI the xxxiiii (1456) berethe witnesse that whereas John Avelyn of Newe Wyndesore ys bounde by his obligacon X li unto maister William Westbury Provost of the College Royel of oure Lady of Eton to be payed to him or elles unto his successors in the fest of Seint Michell next suying as in the seid obligacon more pleynly wol apere the condicon of the same obligacon ys such as foleweth.
