Windsor, Berkshire: Grant of tenement

Grant by John Pury, esquire, to Roger Hunte, of New Windsor, sherman, of a tenement with a garden adjacent situated in the new town of Windsor between the tenement of Margaret Benet on the south and the tenement of the said Roger on the north, and abutting at one end onto the high way called Highstrete on the east and at the other onto the tenement late of Andrew Kempsale on the west, which he had of the gift of Ralph Verney. Yearly rent 6d payable at the grantor's manor of le Mote next Windsor in equal portions at the Annunciation and Michaelmas, with license for the grantor to enter and distrain if the rent is 15 days in arrears.
