Vintry, London: Indenture of lease of Copt Hall

Indenture of lease, upon surrender of his former lease, by the Provost and College, to Richard Woar of the premises in the Vintry of that capital mansion, called Copt Hall in the Crane of the Vintry (within the parish of St Martin in the Vintry) with all houses and cellars thereto adjoining and lately in his holding; with other tenements and gardens as held by a previous lease, excepting the tenement formerly held by John Swane, cooper, and now by Arthur Swayne. From Michaelmas last for 40 years. Rent, for the tenement lately held by William Terrie 3s 4d, and for remainder of the premises £8. Appointment of Edmucd Duffild, of London, gentleman, as the College attorney to deliver seisin of the tenement lately held by William Terrie.
