MISC OCA
Eton College Old Choristers' Association
Series
The Old Choristers' Association was founded in 1930. After the closure of the Choir School in 1968, the membership inevitably declined, and in 2002 the (somewhat controversial) decision was taken to allow all boys who had sung in the Chapel Choir to become members. The Association holds an annual service at Eton followed by dinner in College Hall.
1930 - 2019
Following a large deposit in 2022, the collection was recatalogued
Included with the deposit were some items such as caps and badges which have been transferred to the Museum of Eton Life [MEL 579] and two copies of the Choir School's own paper, The Chorister, which have been placed with the few surviving records of the Choir School [COLL/CS]
