By the consolidation charter of 5 March 1446, which embodied the series of grants made to the college with the authority of the Parliament which met at Westminster on 25 February 1445, the college received all the lands, tenements etc in Middleton in the county of Wiltshire, part of the priory of Brimpsfield. The alien priory of Brimpsfield in Gloucestershire had been a cell to the abbey of Fontenay.
