Various, unconnected poems, short stories and prayers in what appears to be the hand of Sir Douglas Busk and Lady Busk. None of the writings are dated or signed.
Also included are two notebooks, one given the title ‘The Red Book’ and the other a small black notebook containing notes in more than one hand, including what appears to be Sir Douglas Busk and Lady Busk.
Some of the loose drawing are accompanied by pencil, pen-and-ink or watercolour drawings, presumably by Bridget Busk.
