Content description

This is an artificial collection, created to bring together the smaller collections, or individual items, relating to Cory and which have been acquired by Eton College Library over the years.

The collection contains letters, notebooks and other related material and should be used alongside the larger William Johnson Cory [Halsdon collection]: MS 308

Provenance

The papers have a varied archival history, containing material with a Cory provenance and well as material collected and preserved by family members, or acquaintances of Cory. Full details are given at a lower level.

Arrangement

The items in this series were kept separate from the main collection of William Johnson Cory collection [MS 308] due to the differing provenance.
