Includes a photograph of the 'Assembly of the League of Nations' (September 1936); news cutting about his involvement in foreign affairs as well as general press reports on the situation at the time; cards from people me met in Czechoslovakia and Germany, including Konrad Henlein; photographs; correspondence and news cuttings relating to Lord Runciman, including a poem about him Gwatkin wrote, entitled ‘The New Wenceslas’; correspondence concerning a copy of Henlein’s manifesto which Gwatkin gave to the Imperial War Museum; his accounts of the Runciman mission, one of which was published in ‘The Listener (21 October 1948) and the other a detailed typescript account.
